I think you&#039;re right in saying that integration is probably a buzzword these days, and that people aren&#039;t really doing it. Yes, they have set up a fancy new social media site and mention it in their TV commercial, but that doesn&#039;t mean the two are integrated. 

One of the most important aspects to consider is, as you said, &quot;Who are your stakeholders and what are their pain and joy points?&quot; If doesn&#039;t matter if you&#039;re integrating your communications strategy if you aren&#039;t reaching to or speaking to these stakeholders.
